Prior to founding Hampton & Associates consulting practice in 2008, Susan worked for major DFW aerospace & defense contractors for over 20 years. She served Northrop Grumman, Vought Aircraft & Bell Helicopter/Textron in various roles, including Director of Knowledge Management & Technical Competency, Director of Program Integration, Division Manager of Strategic Organizational Development & Learning, Manager of Leadership & Team Development, Manager of Continuous Improvement Systems & Senior Human Resources Business Partner.
Her extensive experience in analyzing human performance factors and designing successful performance improvement solutions provides clients with a rich knowledge base of tested, proven and practical approaches to problem solving. Susan's background developing and facilitating individual coaching, leadership, management, succession planning, mentoring & team development programs enables her to offer an exceptional variety of customizable options scaled to address the specific needs of her clients.
She maintains multiple professional certifications & is recognized for her expertise in the application of many highly validated and reliable diagnostic tools used in analyzing individual & organizational needs. Her active involvement in international knowledge management benchmarking studies allows her to provide specialized guidance to clients interested in capturing, sharing & applying essential lessons learned.
Susan's experience includes facilitating management & leadership assessment & development programs, change management implementation programs, executive coaching & corporate learning councils. She holds degrees in Psychology, Human Resources & Management in addition to a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Susan is currently affiliated with Resource Associates Corporation as well as other professional, collegiate and non-profit organizations.
